THE PRODUCT

Francesca's revolutionary new Eco Emulsion is a water based, breathable, matt paint for interior and exterior walls with a chalky and velvety finish. This paint is completely ecological because it is free from solvents and all their components. This paint covers extremely well; it is wipeable and is ideal for situations where hygiene is essential. And to top it all, Francesca's Eco Emulsion is perfumed with a citrus fragrance (only in a liquid form). Francesca’s Eco Emulsion stands to water extremely well but it is not washable.

COVERAGE

1 litre covers approximately 12 square meters per coat depending on the porosity of surface

PREPARATION
Before application, surfaces must be cleared of loose material, grease and oil.

Over unpainted internal walls: apply one coat of Ecofix/Acrylic Sealer* diluted with 4 part of water to 1 of Ecofix if the wall is powdery to the touch.

Over external walls: apply Ecofix/Acrylic Sealer* as it is or diluted according to the absorbency of the surface

Over previously painted walls: if the paint is flaking remove as much old paint as possible by dampening the wall down and scraping it. Remember that the paint must be applied on a dry surface.

(*Use Acrylic Sealer diluted 8 part of water to 1 part of acrylic sealer; in this way the wall will still be breathable)

APPLICATION
Francesca's Eco Emulsion can be applied by brush, roller and spray gun. Leave at least 6 hours before applying second coat. Do not apply in temperatures below 5C or over 30C. For external use avoid applying the paint in situations of extreme wind and imminent rain. Avoid retouching the final coat.

Dilution
20-25% with water in weight (30-40% in volume) for the first & second coat
It is very important to follow these dilutions even though the dense appearance of the diluted product could make you think to add more water. It is important to stress that once applied this product has excellent spreading and flexible characteristics.

Cleaning
Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before washing. Wash tools immediately after use in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Do not empty product in to drains or watercourses. Contains NO ADDED LEAD.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Colour variation can occur between batches due to the natural pigments used, therefore, it is recommended that all Francesca's Eco Emulsion be purchased at the same time. Keep the lid tightly on. Keep out of reach of children. Do not swallow and avoid eye contact. If accidental contact occurs, rinse eyes with copious amounts of water.
